This option is available for anyone who wishes to pay in advance for their sessions and can be arranged during the initial consultation.

Due to a busy diary, you can appreciate that cancelled or missed appointments can be offered to another client. Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to rearrange or cancel your appointment or you risk being charged the full session rate.
All clients require an initial consultation. It is during this time that we can discuss why you are seeking support and how hypnotherapy could aid you in achieving your goals.
I will give an explanation of how the mind works and why we adopt certain behaviours and thoughts to deal with situations, in particular, your own behaviours and thoughts to situations you have encountered. What to expect in the subsequent sessions will also be explained and it is here I will talk about hypnosis. The initial consultation also allows time for you to ask any questions you may still have.
At the end of the initial consultation you will receive a relaxation CD that will aid in the time between the sessions. Here we also discuss the importance of your commitment and dedication to the therapy- we will need to work together and be determined to succeed.
No hypnosis is used during the initial consultation, it is purely time for us to discuss the above and to establish if hypnotherapy is the appropriate course of action for you.
Sessions will begin by reflecting on how things have been since your last session. There is a focus on what has been positive and what was different about the times where things have been going well. Using solution focused questions, we will work together to set a positive and achievable goal. I will then guide you into hypnosis which will help strengthen the work that we have done during the session and allows you time to relax and reflect.
As a guide, for anxiety, stress, low-self esteem etc, between 8-12 weekly sessions will be needed to gain the most out of the therapy. However, everybody is different and the number of sessions will be discussed during your initial consultation.
